E-medicine Case Report
Hx: General weakness with fever for 1 day. Soft stool once with mild abd. pain. Hx of sinusitis on Tx with Augmentin 675mg q8h for 4 days.
PE: hypeactive bowel sound, no tarry stool nor hematochezia, bil. clear BS, thick yellowish nasal discharge with post-pharyngeal cobble stone pattern.
Hematogram with differential count:
RBC: 6.04 Hb: 16.8 Hct: 52.6% MCV: 87 RDW: 13.0
WBC: 13800 Neutrophil, seg. form: 82% Band form: 4%
Monocyte: 5% Lymphocyte: 7% Eosinophil: 2%
